Requirements for Establishment:

There must be at least one shareholder and director, and one person may serve as both shareholder and director.

There are no restrictions on the nationality of shareholders or directors when establishing a company.

Depending on the industry, it may not be possible to establish a company or a license may be required, so it is necessary to check in advance.

Requirements and documents to be prepared when establishing a company:

1. A copy of the passport of the shareholder/director.

2. Two types of proof of address in English of the shareholder/director within the last three months.

- Living in Korea: A certified copy in English (resident center) + a scan of the front and back of the license (View sample)

- Living in another country: Utility Bill + Bank Statement (or equivalent official document) (View Sample)

3. Fill out the Company Establishment Application Form

Procedure:

1. Submit the required documents of the shareholder/director to be registered:

2. Pay the incorporation fee.

3. Confirm the availability of the company name and finalize it.

4. Sign the company incorporation documents prepared by CJ and send them by international mail.

5. Receive the documents and proceed with the incorporation.

6. The company is incorporated within 7-10 days after receiving the documents.
